: 1) How important is multiplayer functionality to you in an RPG?

It isn't important at all to me. Personally I would
preffer it to be left out, and for you guys to concentrate
on the single player side.
Online/single player rpg's are a bit of sore spot
for me. My experience with them has been short, and
entirely dissapointing. Either one or the other.
There are plenty of online only games out, or coming
out, so why would I want to play an online/single
player game that has had its development time and
budget split between the two? I would preffer a
great single or multiplayer game to an average or good
game that had both. Personally, I don't think a
massive, complex RPG can be made so the two parts are BOTH
worthwile to play. (if that paragraph is confusing, sorry)
I don't know about you, but I almost never play
a game more than once. Online or no.

: 2) If multiplayer DID pose a delay to the game, would you prefer to see it released as a single player game with a multiplayer patch released later, or would you prefer we wait and release everything at once?

Get rid of the multiplayer, I don't care if it
is added in or not.

S&S has lost a lot of the interest it once held
for me. The fact that the game has been split in
twane doen't help.
