Changes to "game formerly known as S&S"

Desslock reported a lot of changes had been made to the game, like having one character as an icon instead of showing the party (I guess this was after I saw the game at E3 in 1998) and removing multiplayer aspects. (I guess from your page that multiplayer at least is back in.) His take on it was that it was becoming less RPGish and more an action game. Now that you have the rights, what direction will the game be moving in?
