: I guess I must be in the minority, but I really like multiplayer options and am looking forward to playing it with friends. I don't like the MMRPG's, but instead prefer to get together with friends and play.
: Multiplayer is actually important to me as I enjoy cooperative play, usually gathering 3-5 friends to help out.

I don't agree with you. If I wan't to play a game
online with friends, I'll get Everquest or one
of the half dozen other online-only CRPG's coming
out within a year or two.

Anyway, to the reason I posted a follow-up.
I would like to think you're in the minority, but
if you ARE--The dozen or so developers putting
multiplayer/single player CRPG's out are in for
a nasty surprise when they release they're games!
And to tell the truth, if their games didn't do
well--it surves them right!

Multiplayer is a big seller (or the developers
think it is), as so long as it remains so, you'll
get your CRPG's with both a single player option
and a multiplayer option (much to this player's
disgust).

Happy gaming,
Decado
