I think Rarehero2k has it right. All my characters belong to all 5 guilds. They all get to do all the quests and they all have access to training from all 5 guilds. My Wizard has a throw skill of like 7 and is mean with a Kiss of Death dart.

The point is that IF you have lots of money you can afford to train your characters 5 times PER level in addition to any points you recieved normally. This can get quite expensive though.

Basically it works like this; I'll use Wizard for example. Wizard buys into Wizard guild and takes Role Advancement quest for Warlock. He is now eligable to belong to the Priest guild. So I go and buy membership in the Priest guild. I now cancel my Warlock quest and take Paladin quest. I am now eligable to belong to the Warriors guild as well so I go buy into that too. Cancel Paladin quest and take Ninja quest. That makes you eligable for both Bushi and Rogue guilds so I go buy into them. Then I cancel Ninja quest and go on about my merry way belonging to all 5 guilds.

: I think its a matter of choice and part of the strategy to lay out for your own party.

: I have 2 wizards, one spec. in sun, the other stone. My sun guy just finished his last spell in the school, around 12th, and I switched him to Warlock to do Moon. My stone will have 2 more levels to go, then Switch him over.

: One thing to note also, when you advance a level in a new role, up until the time you pass the prior classes level, you will only recieve 1 skill point, regardless of you int. So training is a must and you can really round out a new role well through that.

: And, my thief is a guild memeber of thief, warrior, and bushi, so he has the chance to train 3 times each level. He is a nightmare on the battlefield.
